SO CLOSE SO FAR
It was written for students from ages 10 to 16. It’s about Olivia and Maurice who meet during a summer camp where they have no phones or internet. They become really good friends and fall in love with each other. But she has to leave and they never see each other again. Years after, their lives have changed. He has become a superficial young man, obsessed with social media, and she has become a generous and warm-hearted young woman who likes to help other people. But, perhaps, they will meet again by chance and, perhaps, that will change them FOREVER, BOTH HAVE SOME ISSUES TO RESOLVE, BECAUSE NO ONE IS PERFECT.
It is a story about love and friendship, but SPECIALLY ABOUT PERSPECTIVES, EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON THE OBSERVER AND EVERYTHING HAS MORE THAN ONE PERSPECTIVE. A BRAVE SHOW WHERE ACTORS WILL BREAK THEIR OWN CHARACTERS AND THE FOURTH WALL AND MAKE THE AUDIENCE THINK ABOUT WHAT THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE.
SOCIAL MEDIA IS ONE THE TABLE AND WE WILL TALK ABOUT THE ETERNAL HAPPINESS WE SELL BUT also want them to understand why we should never use social media to control what other people do. To sum up, the moral of the story would be that we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, EVERYTHING HAS MORE THAN ONE PERSPECTIVE.
